On Sunday 29th October, artist Majid Dhana will host an art walk, giving you the opportunity to explore his words and poetry as he responds to Look Up Portsmouth portraits and the stories behind them.

Join Journeys Festival International Portsmouth 2017 for a family-friendly art walk around this year’s Look Up artworks in Portsmouth.

Hosted by each Look Up artist and Young Producer Jennifer Tipton, each art walk will give you an opportunity to meet one of the artists involved in the project, and to hear about their process.

An outdoor exhibition installed on the exterior of prominent buildings around the city, Look Up provides a unique opportunity for artists engaging with refugee and asylum seeker themes to have their work shown in one of the most visible strands of Journeys Festival International.

This walk, titled ‘Walk With Words’, runs from 1:00pm ‘til 2:30pm, and ends at Aspex Gallery in Gunwharf Quays for an ‘in conversation with’ session with Tony Spencer and the Look Up Portsmouth artists.

The walk starts from Portsmouth & Southsea Railway Station.
