Scottish folk band Rura

With two heralded albums, a third due for release in June 2018, and extensive international touring, Rura continually affirm their position as one of Scotland’s most powerful groups. They perform at St. George’s Church in Portsmouth on Friday 22nd June, from 8:00pm.

Their exquisitely rugged yet refined blend of fiddle, Highland pipes, flute, bodhran, guitar, and vocals has won a devoted following in many corners of the globe, amongst audiences and critics alike.

Tickets are £15.00, or £13.50 for seniors (aged 60+), students (with valid ID), and children (aged 15 years or under).


Portsmouth Festivities 2018

From Friday 15th to Sunday 24th June 2018, Portsmouth Festivities host a ten-day programme of artistic and cultural events. This year, Portsmouth Festivities celebrates the theme of ‘FREEDOM’, marking the centenary of women’s suffrage and the 100th birthday of Nelson Mandela. Events will explore ideas of creative freedom in a wide-ranging programme of music, theatre, talks, and film, and so much more.
