A presentation reflecting on the sacrifice made in WWI and how the Commonwealth War Graves Commission commemorates the fallen takes place at Portsmouth High School as part of the Portsmouth Festivities 2018 programme on Sunday 17th June.
The presentation touches on how soldiers briefly escaped the horrors of war by creating their own freedom through cultivating gardens near their trenches.
Tickets are £4 for adults £3 for seniors (aged 60 plus) and students (with valid ID), whilst those aged 15 or under go free.
The event starts from 6:00pm.
