The exciting body of work will showcase the incredible talents of Manchester-based Cbloxx and AYLO, featuring artworks from the past three years.
When the pair collaborate, the fusion delivers an unmistakeable style. Each mural has a strong significance to the environment it sits in, combining playful scenes often from local heritage with detailed portraits of characters from some of the the tales they hear in the local watering hole's.
The main focus of the work is a celebration of local history, but on a deeper level, pieces often reflect on the socioeconomic issues effecting the area, like the demise of the fishing industry, the closures of mills, unemployment, inner city social deprivation, and so on.
