A member of Migration Collective — a group of dynamic and creative women based in London — are joined by artist and activist Jeta Bejtullahu for one of Journeys Festival International’s Portsmouth Coffee Shop Conversations.

The theme of this discussion is ‘Across the Sea’, and it explores how we can connect with the plight of people separated from us physically, and how stories of those not present can be shared in a meaningful way.

Hosted by some of the best independent coffeeshops in Portsmouth, Coffee Shop Conversations are an opportunity to discuss and exchange views over free tea, coffee, and cake.

Journeys aim to bring the talent of local, national, and international refugee artists to the general public, creating a positive interface with the community.
